Our hearts are big enough for all animals in need. Alongside our donkeys, we provide a safe, permanent haven to rescued dogs and cats who have found their forever home within our sanctuary family. Every animal here is treated with the unconditional love, safety, and care they truly deserve.

Fuerteventura is home to many stray cats, and 13 of them have luckily found a permanent home with us. These clever rescues take their farm duties very seriously, acting as our official, hard-working mice catchers. When they aren't on pest control duty, they love nothing more than finding a visitor to curl up with for cuddles. Each one has a completely different personality, adding a lovely touch of extra warmth to the sanctuary.

Alongside our donkeys, our sanctuary is proud to be a safe haven for five rescue dogs, including several Bardino Majoreros. As Fuerteventura's native working breed, these striking brindle dogs are legendary for their intense loyalty and natural protective instincts. Because our younger Bardinos take their guarding jobs very seriously, they stay safely in their own secure areas away from the public. However, you might just spot a couple of our gentler, wiser senior dogs calmly wandering the farm grounds to
greet you!
